I’d never have guessed almost 14 years ago, that what started out as a passing fancy for making web pages would lead me to getting a degree in the field and absolutely loving the work I do. But there you have it, 14 years later I still enjoy working on the web, in various capacities.
I have a background in marketing and in multimedia and web development, which work well together since good website design is not just about appearances. It’s about understanding how users interact with a site and more specifically how YOUR users will interact with it. By combining both fields, I set myself as being different from many other web designers out there today.
Good web design, is more than just being able to put pages together and slicing up a layout in Photoshop. A good site, optimized for search engines, requires clean code and a well-organized file structure on the server.

I understand that not everyone has a huge budget to devote to a website, but that doesn’t change the need for one. These days the internet can be a constant source of advertising and revenue if your site is designed and maximized to take full advantage of all it has to offer your customers.
